Now there are even poker radio sites. Poker 30 really hasn’t found any foothold at all on mainstream AM or FM channels but its thriving and them some on internet radio.
Internet radio has made a home for subjects that could never even hope to exist anywhere and in this home they can flourish. There are actually quite a few radio shows devoted to the game of poker on the net, with regular podcasts and webcasts concerning the game of poker. Most are aimed at delivering poker tips and strategies, holding interviews with well known poker celebrities and covering live tournaments. The fact there is so many radio poker sites on the internet and easily accessible to those who care to look for them is testimony not only to the game but the fact that poker has a place on the radio.

More and more poker radio hosts are attempting to make their shows fun and entertaining in order to attract more listeners not only to their sites but to the game of poker itself.
ESPN is a major player in the world of sports recognized all over the world. ESPN runs its own radio network devoted to all different sports and their followings and has given a spot to poker on their site. To be able to sustain all the listeners on all the sites these poker radio shows must indeed have quite a following, people are actually tuning in and listening and in numbers greater than would first be imagined.
